Sandbank picnic in Zanzibar is a full day trip that begins at 9:00 a.m. in Stone Town near the Serena Hotel and takes you to Prison Island (Changuu Island), where you will see gaint tortoises relaxing on the beach shrubs. After a snorkeling tour around the island, we will proceed to a sandbank with abundant birdlife. Lunch (sea foods and beverages), sandbank relaxation, swimming, and listening to the birdlife and the skippers daughters lapping against the shore.
This tour will teach you a lot of topics. Tourists must bring their own towels and swimming suits, though we can provide snorkeling gear and even life jackets upon request. After soaking up the sun, we will slowly begin to sail back to Stone Town, arriving at the Serena Inn by 03:30pm. This tour runs from 9:00am to 3:30pm, and the trip will be on a sharing traditional dhow.
