Safari Blue Trip
The Safari Blue Tour in Zanzibar is the island’s most popular full-day excursion. It departs from Fumba fishing village on the island’s south west coast, with the main attractions being swimming, snorkeling, sea foods, and sailing aboard a traditional dhow. The history of traditional dhow dates back to the 15th and 16th centuries, during the ages of the moonson winds and Arab movements. Embark at 9:00 a.m. on a journey to a sand
Snorkeling is another popular sport, with visitors being escorted to the coral reef and other regions with abundant and colorful schools of fish. After lunch at Kwale Island, we’ll have a short tour of the ancient baobab tree, which is said to be over 200 years old, and then swim in the natural swimming pool near Kwale Island on our journey back to Fumba Beach.
